With the blessings and good wishes of all our members who attended and those who sent their greetings, the Tamil Sangam's new office was inaugurated today. The event began with a prayer to God and a tribute to Mother Tamil, sung by our Tamil students, Miss Rohitha and Miss Ananya. The ceremonial lamp was lit by our senior members, Mrs. Vijaya Venkatraman and Mr. Ravee Pillay, along with our Tamil teachers, Mrs. Geetha Birla, Mrs. Nithya Arivudurai, and the Treasurer of the Tamil Sangam, Mrs. Rajalakshmi Sakthivel. Our Sangam's renovated website also went live today. We request everyone to continue to follow us..




The General Body Meeting of our Association for the year 2025 was held on Sunday, April 13th from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Brindavan Baba Trust Hall, New Panvel. The members of the Association and Tamil relatives from the Panvel area attended this meeting.New executive committee members were elected at the meeting.Our traditional tasting feast was served to those who attended the meeting.




Most of the members of our Tamil Sangam went on a rainy season excursion to Maldunge, a place near Panvel, on July 27th this year. Our bus journey was spent enjoying the natural beauty. We all enjoyed bathing in the natural stream. Delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food were served.Everyone from adults to children and young people participated in the sports competitions and enjoyed themselves.This day was an unforgettable day in the life of all the members who participated.Everyone participated in the monsoon tour with joy and enthusiasm and had a pleasant experience. Your contribution made this day special.




Tamilsangam Newpanvel in association with Rotary Club of Smart City Navimumbai organised Free Health Check Up camp to commemorate the birth day of freedom fighters Late Thirupur Kumaran and Late Subramaniya Siva. The function was inaugurated by renowned builder and philanthropist Shri &Smt L. R Venkataraman. Total of 202 persons have registered and 185 persons checked their health and benefitted. More than 80 people were called for further follow up treatment at MGM Hospital Kamothe. The camp was conducted by MGM hospital Kamothe team. The event was very well managed by the Ladies wing of Tamilsangam. The camp was conducted from 9-30 am to 3-30 pm.




Evening from 6-30 to 9-30pm Tamilsangam official website inauguration function wes organised. Thiru S Annamalai President and Thiru Ayothi, Treasurer, Maharashtra State aTamil Association, Thiru Mahesh Nagarajan, thiru M K Chettiyar were the chief guest. Thiru Ravi pillai compered the program. Tamilsangam web id www.tamilsangam.com was click started by the guest. Thiru Sujit Wilson, the website designer was felicitated by the chief guest. Tamilsangam festival committee has organised the function.




28/06/2015 Tamilsangam Newpanvel celebrated 23rd annual day celebration. Tamilsangam member's children performed cultural programs. Bhrata Natyam dance was performed by the disciples of Shri Nritya kala dance academy Newpanvel. All dance were performed based on poems by Tamil literature Thirikkurall. It was appreciated by all the participants.




On 12/04/2015 Tamilsangam Newpanvel organised Blood Donation Camp in association with Rotary Blood Bank Khandacolony. 27 units of blood were donated and all were accepted without any rejection.




22nd Annual day function was celebrated on 27/04/2014 @Andhra Kala Samiti Hall. More than 120 families of our members participated and enjoyed the cultural programs performed by the children of our members. The activities of Tamilsangam during the year 2013-14 was explained to the members and building fund initiative was mooted in the meeting and was widely appreciated by all members.




On 24/08/2014 Rain picnic was organised by Tamilsangam Newpanvel with 55 members of our sangam to a new location behind Matheran hills. The participants had enjoyed the scenic beauty of the location with drizzle of rain throughout the day. Tamilsangam had organised delicious food at the location itself. Participants had enjoyed a lot.




In the month of December 2013 National Energy conservation week was organised by Tamilsangam Newpanvel to create awareness amongst the children and members. More than 30 children and elders participated. A drawing competition was conducted on the theme Energy Conservation.
